Founded in the Spring of 2004, the Apollo Board is a group of young Lexingtonians who want to support the Museum by fostering community involvement. The Apollo Board's mission is to increase interest and awareness of the Museum in the next generation of art patrons. The Board appeals to a younger audience, aiming to raise funding for museum programs and boost membership and attendance.
Since its inception, the Board has added over 50 memberships to the Museum and raised a significant amount of money through its two major fun draiser's, Casino Night, held in the winter and a mid-summer's evening event.
